German-English Dictionary of Knitting Terminology

I've received emails lately about Scribd charging a fee to download the "German-English Dictionary of Knitting Terminology". Therefore, I've moved the document to Google docs at this link. Enjoy!

    Thank you so much! I'm going to start knitting a Herbert Niebling pattern soon and this will help so much! I once asked a friend who was a native German speaker to help translate a German pattern and she said she'd have to ask her mother (a knitter) to help out. So Danke Schon! (I don't know how to type umlauts :( )

    Great work, to compile this list. There are a few errors.
    Some phrases are doubled:
    - nur, - durch x teilbar, - saum, - schlaufe, ungefahr.
    Garen oder Faden should not translate as "join into ring" but as "thread or yarn".
    Eine masche fallen lassen - "selvedge" should be "drop a stich".
    Kunst - "art" can also mean "artificial".
    Faden um die nadel schlagen - "drop a stitch" should be "yarnover"'.

    I have a pattern for a hood in German and this helps a lot to be able to get the pattern done correctly.
